So what’s been happening at BATWK since our AGM back in November 22?

We have been busy behind the scenes planning a busy summer.

In January Catherine Atkinson resigned as secretary. Since then the secretary role has been shared out across the committee with Nina Griffiths taking on the majority of the work.

When we met as a Committee we Unanimously decided that Iain Muirhead became a “Honorary Member” of the BATWK Committee. Over many years Iain has worked hard to promote working Kelpies in the UK. Iain will be attending most Clinics this year. Make sure you come along and say hi and tap in to his knowledge of the breed.

In February we had a photo competition on our Facebook page. We had an amazing response and received over 200 photos. look out for the new Gallery page on the website very soon, so feel free to send us any photos or videos you’d like to share.. The winner featured as a cover photo on our page and received a free gift.

So what’s happening over the summer…..

In May we will be attending two NSA Sheep events.

South West Sheep on 10th May

Wales Sheep on 16th May

Early June we begin our Training Clinics.

Our first ever Ireland clinic on the 3-4 of June.

Then we head to North Wales on the 24th. We have a stunning location booked. We will also have some special visitors joining us!

July we head south to Wiltshire on the 22-23

August we head to Aylesbury then back North to Scotland in October.

Places on the clinic are filling up fast so don’t delay booking your place.

We look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the summer. Come and see us at the NSA events to say hi and have a drink.
